Most areas of Lawrence received about 2 inches of snow Tuesday night through 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service, with more still falling later into the morning.
Winter weather is headed toward Douglas County and the rest of northeast Kansas. Douglas County could see anywhere from 3 to 7 inches of snow accumulation.
