“We definitely switched over to a Christmas gift-heavy bestseller list pretty much as soon as middle of November and Thanksgiving week hit,” the Raven Book Store writes.
”Another ’only book store in the world with this Top 10 list,’” the Raven Book Store writes, as Lawrence locals including Louise Krug, Kelly Kindscher and Meg Heriford have books on this edition.
”The top 2 books on this list are from a couple of incredible events we had in the last couple of weeks. We are also starting to get a peek of the coming holiday season’s hot titles!” the Raven Book Store writes.
Three longtime booksellers at the Raven Book Store will soon take ownership of the store from outgoing majority owner Danny Caine.
“All of these books are either from recent events, local authors, or spooky-adjacent for Halloween! We love how supportive our community is when it comes to events,” the Raven Book Store writes of this week’s bestsellers.
