A victim was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after a reported stabbing Monday night, according to Lawrence police.
Lt. David Ernst said via email Tuesday morning that officers were dispatched to LMH around 11:55 p.m. Monday for a stabbing that occurred in the 100 block of North Michigan Street.
“The victim had been located by friends at a Quik Trip and transported to LMH where the police responded,” Ernst said. “It was reported the victim was stabbed by someone the victim was in a domestic relationship with.”
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests had been made as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, Ernst said.
