Haskell is welcoming the Lawrence community to join a restoration workday in the greenhouse gardens.

The event will go from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 at the Eric Allen Greenhouse on Haskell’s campus, 145 Shawnee Ave.

“These gardens are integral for our many more-than-human-relations, harvests, seed collections, and more,” according to the event page.

Organizers ask attendees to bring their own water and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.

This is one of many workdays Haskell Greenhouse hosts on the land for prairie, wetlands and woodlands restoration, and more.
