The Douglas County clerk’s office has launched an online voter data dashboard with demographics of active and inactive voters, party affiliation breakdowns and more.

The office is also launching a “Ballot Box” blog, where staff members will regularly post updates about voting and elections, according to a Wednesday news release from the county.

The dashboard can be found at this link. Subscribe to the Ballot Box blog at this link.

“These tools help us share timely, accurate information directly with the community,” County Clerk Jamie Shew said in the release. “We want residents to have confidence in the election process and to easily access the data that informs how elections work in Douglas County.”

The dashboard currently shows 80,078 registered voters, 66,707 of whom are active. They have an average age of 48.55 and a median age of 46, according to the data.

Dashboard sections can be filtered to show voters from certain affiliations, precincts, districts, locations and more.

Each section also has more information about what the pieces of the charts are showing if you mouse over or click on a question mark icon.

The dashboard is not yet optimized for viewing on mobile browsers, according to a message on the website, but it is visible on mobile devices.
