Cathy Marie Stanley, 72, of Ozawkie, KS, passed away peacefully at her home on September 27th 2026.
Cathy was born on August 16th, 1954, in Anaheim, CA, to Bob Sholes and Catherine (Murphy) Mickow, father George Mickow. She married the love of her life, Steven Stanley, on November 17th, 1973, in Winterhaven, CA. Together they shared more than five decades of marriage and built a loving family.
Cathy dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She was a caregiver by nature, always giving her time, love, and compassion to those around her. Her greatest joy was her family, and she will be remembered for the love and care she gave to them so freely.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Stanley; her children Nichole Stanley and Hans Coleman, Erin and Allen Lee; grandchildren, Emerson and Maya Lee, Elizabeth Stanley and Joe Bradshaw, Jillian Stanley and Levi Isch, Vivan Stanley and Blake Miller, Devon Stanley; great grandchildren Autumm Bradshaw, Kohen Stanley, and Sawyer Isch; Siblings Jim and Stephanie Sholes, Melody and Jim Clausen.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Catherine; her brothers Perry and Frank Sholes; and her son Jared Wayne Stanley.
Cathy leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her family and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
